Netherlands-based Bedaux de Brouwer Architecten and interior architecture firm i29 have collaborated to design a home that showcases a bold black brick exterior.

The black brick facade features curves and has large integrated planters that highlight the lush greenery.

Wood accents soften the brick exterior and add a natural element to the home.

Another design element of the home is the large glass walls that fill the interior with an abundance of natural light.

Hidden from the street is a private swimming pool with an outdoor shower and sitting area. Plants have been used as a decorative element along the walls, adding a contrasting element to the black brick.

Inside, black elements like door frames and support poles complement the black exterior.

Large wooden surfaces are used throughout the house to connect the different areas.

A see-through fireplace can be enjoyed from both the living room and a home office.

A wood bench wraps around the windows that provide views of a planted garden.

The dining room and kitchen are slightly stepped down from the living room.

In the kitchen, a matte black island and matching stools create a strong contrasting element when compared to the minimalist light wood cabinets and the white light fixture.

In the bedrooms, cabinets, wardrobes, walls, sliding doors, beds are made from the same light wood material for unity and connection throughout the home.

A collection of hallways connect the various areas of the home, each with concrete floors and views of the garden.
